What the numbers mean in practice
24 wrong answers is your entire margin
At 60% you have a workable margin, but it disappears quickly if a whole topic is weak. Practise by topic to find out which one before the exam does.
60 seconds per question
That is enough time to read a scenario carefully, which is what this exam requires — the questions are longer and several answers are usually defensible.
Closed book and proctored
PeopleCert proctors this exam, whether you sit it remotely or at a test centre. No notes, no reference material.
Topics assessed
PRINCE2 7 draws on 6 areas. The counts show how many practice questions we hold for each, which is a reasonable proxy for how much ground each covers.

How PRINCE2 7 compares
PRINCE2 7 exam questions
60%, which is 36 of 60 questions, in 60 minutes. It is the most forgiving pass mark of the certifications covered here.
No. Foundation is closed book. Only the Practitioner exam permits the official manual.
The 7th edition added a people element, reframed themes as practices, and put sustainability alongside the traditional performance targets of cost, time, quality, scope, benefits and risk.
PeopleCert issues PRINCE2 certificates with a three-year renewal date, maintained through CPD points or resitting.
